Promos

Arizona sportsbook promos and bonus codes

Every new-customer offer we could verify for Arizona this month, side by side. None of them needs a promo code. Arizona lets sportsbooks deduct free bets from taxable revenue, but the 2021 law phases that out: the cap drops to 10% in years four and five, and the deduction ends in year six.

The top Arizona sportsbooks in more detail

FanDuel Sportsbook Arizona

Live since: Sept 9, 2021 ยท Partner: Phoenix Suns

FanDuel Sportsbook went live in Arizona on September 9, 2021, the first day of legal betting. It holds its license through the Phoenix Suns, one of the pro sports organizations allowed to partner with an online sportsbook under HB 2772.

Its strongest feature is the same-game parlay builder, and FanDuel regularly runs profit boosts on live same-game parlays. New customers get Bet $5, Get $350 in Bonus Bets ($50 a day for 7 days). You bet $5 or more each day to unlock that day's $50, and no Promo Code is needed.

The menu covers moneylines, spreads, totals, parlays, player props, futures and live betting on the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, soccer, golf, tennis and UFC. A Cardinals game at State Farm Stadium or a Suns night in Phoenix is easy to build a parlay around. ASU and Arizona Wildcats games are on the board as game lines only, since Arizona bans college player props.

DraftKings Sportsbook Arizona

Live since: Sept 9, 2021 ยท Partner: TPC Scottsdale (PGA Tour)

DraftKings Sportsbook also launched on September 9, 2021. Its Arizona license came through the PGA Tour and TPC Scottsdale, home of the Phoenix Open, so golf betting fits naturally here.

Regular bettors earn Crowns through Dynasty Rewards: one Crown for every $1 on parlays and same-game parlays, and one for every $2 on straight bets and futures. Crowns can be spent in the Dynasty Store. The welcome offer is Bet $5, Get $200 in Bonus Bets + 3 Months of NBA League Pass. The bonus bets arrive as $50 every 7 days over 21 days, and no Promo Code is needed.

You can bet moneylines, spreads, totals, parlays, props, futures and live odds on the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, WNBA, soccer, golf, tennis and UFC. Suns games, Diamondbacks series and Mercury matchups all get full markets. College football is limited to game lines, so a Territorial Cup bet on Arizona vs ASU is fine, but a player prop isn't.

BetRivers Sportsbook Arizona

Live since: October 2021 ยท Partner: Arizona Rattlers (2021 license allocation)

BetRivers Sportsbook went live in Arizona in October 2021, a month after the state launched. It is run by Rush Street Interactive, and its license was first allocated in 2021 through the Arizona Rattlers.

The main draw for regular bettors is iRush Rewards, which earns points on every bet. New customers get a Second Chance Bet on your first wager: if that first bet loses, you get a bonus bet back. No Promo Code is needed.

BetRivers covers moneylines, spreads, totals, parlays, same-game parlays, props, futures and live betting. The NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL are all here, along with soccer, golf, tennis and UFC. Arizona has had no NHL team since the Coyotes left for Salt Lake City in 2024, so locals mostly bet the Cardinals, Suns and Diamondbacks. College games, including ASU and Arizona, are limited to game lines.

Hard Rock Bet Arizona

Live since: April 7, 2022 ยท Partner: Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise

Hard Rock Bet launched in Arizona on April 7, 2022, in partnership with Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise. The Navajo Nation's Twin Arrows casino near Flagstaff also has a Hard Rock retail sportsbook, which is useful because mobile betting isn't allowed on tribal land.

Bets earn points in Unity by Hard Rock, the same rewards program used at Hard Rock casinos and hotels. The welcome offer is Bet $5, Get Up to $500 in No Sweat Bets. After a first bet of $5 or more, you get No Sweat Bets worth up to $50 a day over the next 10 days. No Promo Code is needed.

The app offers moneylines, spreads, totals, parlays, same-game parlays, props, futures and live betting across the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college football and basketball, soccer, golf, tennis and UFC. A No Sweat Bet on a Cardinals spread or a Suns total is a typical way to use the offer. College bets stay on game lines only.

bet365 Arizona

Live since: Feb 5, 2024 ยท Partner: Ak-Chin Indian Community

bet365 went live in Arizona on February 5, 2024, through the Ak-Chin Indian Community. It is the newest of the five apps we rate here.

Its best feature is Early Payout: a straight bet on the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL or college football is paid as a winner if your team gets far enough ahead at any point. Watch & Bet streams some events to funded accounts. New customers get Bet $10, Get $200 in Bonus Bets, Win or Lose. You need a $10 deposit and a $10 first bet at odds of -500 or longer. No Promo Code is needed.

bet365 is known for its in-play range, with live odds on the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, WNBA, soccer, tennis, golf and UFC. You can bet the Cardinals live through a Sunday afternoon or follow a Diamondbacks game pitch by pitch. Same-Game Parlay+ lets you combine same-game parlays from several games, though ASU and Arizona player props stay off the board.

Laws and restrictions

Arizona sports betting laws: what you can and can't bet on

Gov. Doug Ducey signed HB 2772 on April 15, 2021, alongside an amended tribal gaming compact, and betting went live on September 9, 2021. Up to 20 event-wagering licenses exist: 10 for Arizona tribes and 10 for pro sports teams and venues. A few rules catch people out. The Arizona Department of Gaming licenses and regulates every sportsbook below.

21 and over

You must be 21 to bet, online or at a retail sportsbook in a stadium or tribal casino.

Bet from Arizona, not on tribal land

Geolocation checks that you're physically in Arizona when you bet. Mobile betting is not allowed on tribal lands, so use the casino's retail sportsbook there. Visitors can bet too.

No college player props

Game lines on ASU, Arizona and other college teams are fine, but bets on individual college player actions or performances are banned. Season awards are allowed.

No high school or injury bets

HB 2772 bans wagers on high school sports and on injuries or penalties.

10% online, 8% retail

Sportsbooks pay a 10% privilege fee on online bets and 8% on retail bets, charged on adjusted gross wagering revenue. By law 90% goes to the state general fund and 10% to the Department of Gaming.

Self-exclusion

Arizona's self-exclusion program covers event wagering and fantasy sports for 1, 5 or 10 years. Help is available on 1-800-NEXT-STEP, or text NEXTSTEP to 53342.
