Betway free spins, no wagering: how the 150 spins work
When you sign up, pick the casino welcome offer during registration. Then deposit at least £20 with a debit card and stake £20 on the casino. Your first 50 free spins land, followed by another 50 a day later and the last 50 a day after that. You need to do the deposit and stake within seven days of opening your account.
Each spin is worth 10p and works on a set of selected slots, including Dark Water, Gold Blitz, Bass Cash and Links of Ra. There’s no wagering on the winnings, so whatever the spins pay out you can withdraw when you like. Each batch expires seven days after it’s awarded.
Watch the payment rules. It’s debit card only, and Betway excludes cards from a long list of issuers, including Revolut, Wise (listed as Transferwise), Vivid Money and bunq. If your everyday card is from one of those app banks, use a high street bank card for the qualifying deposit or the spins won’t appear.
150 spins × 10p = £15 of free play for a £20 deposit and stake. Your £20 is still yours to play with, and if the spins return £11, you can withdraw the full £11. Under a 10x offer, £11 of spin winnings would need £110 of extra play first. Fair value, but bet365 and Betfred both ask for only £10.
Betway Casino promo code: do you need one?
No. You don’t need a Betway Casino promo code. Choose the casino offer when you register, deposit and stake £20 by debit card, and you get 150 free spins over three days with no wagering on winnings.

How to claim your Betway Casino bonus
Who owns Betway Casino?
Betway was founded in 2006 and is now part of Super Group (SGHC) Ltd, which has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange since January 2022.
The UK site is licensed by the Gambling Commission under Betway Limited, account 39372. The same licence covers sister brands including JackpotCity and Spin Casino, and the Hippodrome’s online casino runs on it as a white label.
Betway’s record isn’t spotless. In September 2022 it paid £408,915 after Betway-linked branding appeared on children’s pages of West Ham United’s website. Back in March 2020 it paid £11.6 million over historical customer protection and anti-money-laundering failures. Neither is recent, but it’s part of the picture.
What games can you play at Betway Casino?
Betway’s casino is broad, with a few extras that keep regulars coming back. As at every UK site, slots are limited to £5 a spin if you’re 25 or over and £2 a spin for 18 to 24-year-olds.
Slots and jackpots
A big slots lobby with progressive jackpots, including the welcome offer games like Dark Water and Links of Ra.
Live casino
Live dealer tables, including Lightning Roulette.
Daily Prize Wheel and tournaments
A daily wheel spin in the app plus slot tournaments with leaderboards.
Bingo, Slingo and instant wins
Bingo rooms, Slingo, Plinko and instant win games for something lighter.
What do players say about Betway?
Not much good, on Trustpilot at least. Betway scores 1.2 out of 5 from 18,657 reviews (checked October 2026), level with Ladbrokes and Coral for the lowest score on our list, and that’s the global brand profile covering sports and casino. Most of the recent reviewers are from the UK. The app does far better, at 4.7 from over 14,000 UK App Store ratings. These themes come up most:
- Withdrawals stuck in processing. The biggest complaint by far: winnings delayed, stuck or, in a few cases, reportedly never received.
- Support that doesn’t help. Players describe a chatbot that doesn’t understand them, long waits and generic email replies.
- Documents asked for at withdrawal. Several reviewers say ID or address checks only came up when they tried to cash out, even on accounts that seemed verified.
- Some quick payouts. A handful of reviewers say their withdrawals were fast and they enjoy the games.
Betway Casino: the good and the not so good
Pros
- No wagering on winnings Win £9 from your spins and you can withdraw £9. No play-through at all.
- No promo code to forget Just tick the offer at sign-up. There’s no code to enter in the wrong order.
- Plenty to do after sign-up The Daily Prize Wheel and slot tournaments give regulars more than just the slots lobby.
Cons
- £20 to qualify Double the £10 that bet365 and Betfred Games ask for, for fewer spins.
- Fussy about debit cards Revolut, Wise and many other issuers are excluded, so check your card before you deposit.
- Joint-lowest Trustpilot score on our list 1.2 / 5, with withdrawal delays the most common complaint.
Betway Casino vs bet365, Betfred Games and Ladbrokes
Here’s how Betway’s 150 spins compare with three other no-wagering free spins offers from big UK names.
| Casino | Welcome offer | You need to | Wagering | Promo Code |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Betway Casino | Bet £20 & Get 150 Free Spins | Deposit and stake £20 by debit card | None | Not needed |
| bet365 Casino | 10 Days of Free Spins with up to 500 Free Spins | Have £10 in lifetime deposits | None | 365GMBLR |
| Betfred Games | Play with £10, Get 200 spins | Deposit by debit card and stake £10 on slots | None | SPINS |
| Ladbrokes Casino | 100 Free Spins | Deposit and bet £10 on slots | None | Not needed |
All four have no wagering, so it comes down to spins per pound. Betfred Games gives 200 spins for £10, and bet365 usually lands somewhere around 150 to 250 for the same tenner. Betway asks for £20 for 150, and Ladbrokes gives 100 for £10. Betway isn’t the best value here, but it’s a fair deal if you’d rather spread your spins over three days.
Is Betway Casino worth joining?
Betway’s 150 no-wagering spins are a decent deal, and the casino itself has plenty going on, from the Daily Prize Wheel to Lightning Roulette. The app is well rated by people who use it every day.
But it asks for more money than its closest rivals, the debit card rules are strict, and its Trustpilot score is joint-lowest on our list. If you only want one casino, Betfred Games or bet365 Casino give more for less. See how they all rank on our top 10 UK online casinos.
