QuinnBet is a racing-friendly bookie with Best Odds Guaranteed on all UK racing, free horse and greyhound streams and a better Trustpilot score than most big names. Its welcome offer is different: instead of free bets for one bet, you get 50% of your first day’s losses back as a free bet, up to £25.
That offer has more rules than most, and QuinnBet paid a £609,104 settlement to the Gambling Commission in August 2026. Here’s what you need to know, and how it compares with 10bet, Unibet and Betfred.

This is a refund offer, not a ‘bet £10, get £30’ deal. On your first day, you place at least three bets on different events, all at Evens (2.00) or bigger. QuinnBet adds up your losses from when your first bet settles until 23:59 that night. If you’re down, you get half of that back as a free bet, up to £25.
There’s a rule about stake sizes too. Two of your bets must be at least half the size of your biggest one. So if your biggest bet is £10, you need at least two more of £5 or more. If you bet the same event twice, only the first bet counts.
If you end the day ahead, or lose less than £5, you still get a £5 free bet as long as one of your bets was £10 or more at Evens or bigger. Bets at SP, cashed-out bets, void bets and bets placed with free bets don’t count, so take a price and leave cash out alone.
The free bet lands the day after and lasts 7 days. You can use it at odds between 1/4 and 250/1, on singles or straight accas like a double or treble, but not on Trixies, Patents or Yankees. The stake isn’t returned.
Say you bet £10, £5 and £5 at Evens or bigger on three different races at Cheltenham and all three lose. You’re £20 down, so you get a £10 free bet. To get the full £25 you’d need to lose £50 on day one. If one of your bets wins and you finish ahead, you get £5. Put that on a 3/1 shot and a winner pays £15.
No. You don’t need a QuinnBet promo code. Deposit, then bet at Evens or bigger on your first day. If you end the day down, half your losses come back as a free bet of up to £25, and you’re guaranteed at least £5 if one of your bets was £10 or more.

QuinnBet’s UK betting is run by QuinnBet (Gibraltar) Limited, licensed by the Gambling Commission under account 61011. The licence covers quinnbet.com and its mobile site.
On the record: in August 2026 QuinnBet agreed to pay £609,104 to the Commission, plus costs and a public statement, instead of a financial penalty. The Commission found failings in its anti-money laundering controls and in its social responsibility checks, including how it interacted with customers and checked for financial vulnerability. That’s very recent, and it’s a big part of why QuinnBet sits lower in our rankings than its racing offer alone would put it.
QuinnBet is strongest on the horses and dogs, but it covers football, tennis, darts and the rest of the usual sports too.
Best Odds Guaranteed on all UK racing, including multiples. If your 5/1 shot at Aintree goes off 8/1, you’re paid at 8/1. Extra Places feature among its racing promotions.
UK and Irish horse racing plus greyhound racing streamed live.
QuinnBet’s own bet builder, for combining several selections into one bet.
Full and partial cash out, plus a full in-play section.
QuinnBet scores 3.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 4,292 reviews (checked October 2026). 63% are five stars and 22% are one star. It replies to 97% of negative reviews and invites customers to leave reviews, which can lift a score.
Here’s how QuinnBet compares with three other bookies with above-average Trustpilot scores.
| Bookmaker | Welcome offer | Min odds | Best Odds Guaranteed | Trustpilot |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| QuinnBet | Get 50% Back as a Free Bet up to £25 | Evens (2.0) | Yes, UK racing | 3.8 |
| 10bet | Bet £10 Get up to £50 | See T&Cs | No | 4.2 |
| Unibet | Bet £20 Get £40 | Evens (2.0) | Yes, from 8am | 3.3 |
| Betfred | Bet £10 Get £50 | Evens (2.0) | Yes, from 8am | 3.1 |
QuinnBet has the smallest welcome offer of the four, and it only pays out in full if you lose. Betfred and 10bet both give up to £50 for a single £10 bet. Where QuinnBet holds its own is racing: BOG on all UK races, multiples included, and free streams. 10bet has the best Trustpilot score but no BOG at all.
As a second account for racing, QuinnBet makes sense. BOG on all UK racing, free streams and a decent Trustpilot record are all real plus points for anyone who bets on the horses or dogs most days.
Don’t join for the welcome offer, though. It’s small, it needs you to lose to be worth anything and the rules are easy to trip over. The August 2026 settlement is a reason to keep an eye on things too. For bigger sign-up deals, see our best UK betting sites.
