Minimum Deposit Casinos UK: £5 and £10 Deposit Sites – October 2026

You don’t need £50 to try an online casino. Several big UK sites let you deposit £5, and most welcome offers now start at £10.

The trick is knowing which payment method gets you the lowest minimum, and which deposits actually count for the bonus.

We checked each casino’s own help pages and payment tables for the minimum deposit by method, then read the full welcome offer terms to see what £10 really gets you.

The results are below, with worked examples in pounds, real slots you can play at 10p or less, and the catches nobody puts in the headline.

Here’s what we think are the best minimum deposit casinos UK players can join right now.

bet365, William Hill Vegas and Ladbrokes are best because all three take £5 deposits and give you free spins for a £10 deposit or stake, and two of the three put no wagering on the spin winnings.

Enjoy!

£5 vs £10

£5 deposit vs £10 deposit: what your money actually buys

A £5 deposit gets you playing. A £10 deposit usually gets you the welcome offer as well. Here’s the difference in pounds and spins.

Most UK casinos that accept £5 still ask for £10 before they’ll give you a welcome bonus. So the real choice isn’t £5 or £10. It’s whether you want to try a site cheaply first, or go straight for the free spins.

What £5 gets you

Say you deposit £5 and play Starburst at its lowest stake of 10p a spin. That’s 50 spins. Big Bass Splash and Fishin’ Frenzy The Big Catch 2 also start at 10p, so it’s 50 spins there too. The original Fishin’ Frenzy starts at 20p, so the same £5 lasts 25 spins.

Go lower and it stretches further. Rainbow Riches can be played from a penny a spin, and Book of Dead from 1p on a single line, or 10p with all ten lines at 1p each.

You won’t stop at exactly 50 spins, of course. Small wins top your balance up and dry spells drain it. A slot with a 96% RTP is built to pay back about £96 for every £100 staked, but only over millions of spins. Over 50 spins, anything can happen.

What a £10 welcome offer gets you

At William Hill Vegas, register with Promo Code WHV200, deposit £10 and stake it on the advertised game. You get 200 free spins at 10p, which is £20 of spins. Say they return £14. You then need to wager that £14 ten times, £140 in total, on the same game within 72 hours. Whatever you finish with is yours, up to £30.

At bet365 it’s a lucky dip. With £10 in lifetime deposits and Promo Code 365GMBLR you make ten daily picks of 5, 10, 20 or 50 spins at 10p. Worst case, ten picks of 5 is 50 spins, worth £5. Best case is 500 spins, worth £50. Either way there’s no wagering, so win £8 and you can withdraw £8.

At Ladbrokes and Coral, bet £10 on slots and you get 100 spins at 10p, so £10 of spins. No wagering, so if they land £7, that’s £7 in your cash balance.

When £10 isn’t enough

Plenty of welcome offers start at £20, and they tend to ask more of you. At Grosvenor, a £20 deposit gets a £40 bonus, but the deposit and bonus together need wagering 10 times. That’s £60 × 10 = £600 of play. Compare that with the £10 offers above, where the worst you face is 10x on spin winnings.

If you’re on a small budget, a £10 offer with no wagering is almost always the better deal, even if the headline looks smaller.

In Detail

The top 5 £5 minimum deposit casinos in detail

These five let you start with £5 and unlock a welcome offer at £10. Here’s how each one works in practice.

We picked them on three things: a verified £5 minimum on at least one common payment method, a welcome offer you can trigger with £10, and terms that don’t swallow a small win.

1. bet365: the easiest route from £5 to the bonus

bet365 is the only casino here whose offer counts lifetime deposits rather than one qualifying deposit. Put in £5 by debit card on Monday, another £5 on Friday, and you’ve hit the £10 you need. You have 30 days from registering to claim.

Your free spins are worth 10p each and land on a handful of selected slots. You get one pick every 24 hours, ten picks within 20 days, and there’s no wagering on anything they win. Two things to watch: Paysafecard deposits don’t count towards the offer, and PayPal deposits start at £25, so it’s not the cheap way in.

Withdrawals start at £5 for debit cards and Apple Pay, and £10 for PayPal. bet365’s licence holder is Hillside (UK Gaming) ENC, Gambling Commission account 55149.

2. William Hill Vegas: 200 spins for a tenner

William Hill publishes one of the clearest payment tables we found. Debit cards, Apple Pay and Pay by Bank start at £5 for deposits and withdrawals. PayPal is £10 both ways. Paysafecard deposits start at £10, but you can only withdraw the money by bank transfer, with a £25 minimum.

For the welcome deal you register with Promo Code WHV200, opt in on the promotions page, and within seven days deposit £10 and stake £10 from your main balance on the advertised game. That gets you 200 spins at 10p. The spins expire after 72 hours, the winnings need wagering 10 times on the same game in that time, and the most you can win is £30.

Is £30 a problem? Not on a £10 deposit, to be honest. It just means you shouldn’t expect a life-changing win from the spins.

3. Ladbrokes: no wagering spins from a £10 bet

Ladbrokes’ help pages list a £5 minimum deposit for Google Pay and for Pay by Bank. For other methods, it says the minimum is shown in the cashier. Withdrawals under £5 need a call to customer services.

Bet £10 on slots and you get 100 free spins at 10p. You have 48 hours to accept them and seven days to use them. There’s no wagering, which is why we rate it above offers with more spins. The exclusions list is long, though: NETELLER, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don’t count. Use a standard high-street debit card, or check Google Pay is accepted for the offer before you deposit.

Ladbrokes is licensed to LC International Limited, Gambling Commission account 54743.

4. Coral: the same deal on a different site

Coral is Ladbrokes’ sister brand under the same licence, so the low deposit picture is almost identical. Google Pay and Pay by Bank start at £5, and Google Pay withdrawals also start at £5.

The welcome offer is also a copy: bet £10 on slots, get 100 free spins at 10p, no wagering. The difference is the games lobby and the look of the app, so pick whichever you prefer. If you already have a Ladbrokes account, read the terms before you assume you can claim both.

5. LiveScore Casino: £5 deposits, £5 withdrawals

LiveScore Bet’s help centre says the minimum deposit starts at £5 but may differ by method. The bigger plus for small players is the other end: the minimum withdrawal is £5 for Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and bank transfer. If your balance is under £10, it asks you to contact customer support.

To get the welcome spins you must sign up through the offer link, then play £10 on slots within seven days. You get 100 spins at 10p on King Kong Cash Even Bigger Bananas Jackpot King, which you accept through a pop-up within 24 hours. They expire after three days, so don’t claim them before a weekend away.

LiveScore Bet is licensed to LiveScore Betting and Gaming (Gibraltar) Limited, account 56859. Its sister brand, Virgin Bet Casino, works almost the same way and is our sixth pick.

Payments

Which payment methods allow the lowest deposits?

The same casino can have a £5 minimum for one method and £25 for another. These are the figures each casino publishes. “Cashier” means the help pages say the minimum is shown in the cashier rather than listing it.

Debit cards are the safest bet for a £5 deposit that also counts for a bonus. Credit cards have been banned for gambling in the UK since 14 April 2020, so if you’re paying by Apple Pay or Google Pay, make sure the card behind it is a debit card.

Payment Tips

Paysafecard, PayPal or debit card for a small deposit?

Each one has its own catch when you’re depositing £5 or £10. Here’s the short version.

Paysafecard: cheap to deposit, awkward to withdraw

Paysafecard is a prepaid voucher, which makes it popular for budgeting. bet365 takes it from £5. But you can’t withdraw back to it. Grosvenor, Rialto and the other Rank sites mark Paysafecard withdrawals as not available, and 32Red says you’ll need another method. At William Hill, Paysafecard money comes out by bank transfer only, with a £25 minimum.

It’s also excluded from most welcome offers. bet365, Ladbrokes, Coral, Grosvenor and every Rank site in our list rule it out for the bonus.

PayPal: fine for everyday deposits, rarely for bonuses

Grosvenor accepts PayPal from £5, and William Hill from £10. At bet365 the PayPal minimum is £25, five times the debit card figure. And PayPal is excluded from welcome offers at Ladbrokes, Coral, Grosvenor, Rialto, Magical Vegas and the other Rank sites, while 32Red wants a debit card or instant bank transfer. Use PayPal once the welcome offer is done.

Debit card or Pay by Bank: the dependable choice

A Visa or Mastercard debit card qualifies for almost every welcome offer we track, and at bet365, William Hill and Grosvenor it works from £5. Pay by Bank goes straight from your bank account and starts at £5 at William Hill, Ladbrokes and Coral. Some offers exclude certain debit cards, though. JackpotCity’s terms name Revolut and Wise among them, so read the exclusions if you use an app-only bank.

Low-Stake Slots

Low deposit slots: what £5 buys on popular games

The lowest stake per spin, from the game maker’s own page or a UK casino’s game page, and how many spins that gives you from a £5 balance before any wins.

Check the RTP before you play, as the same slot can run at different settings. Blueprint lists five versions of Fishin’ Frenzy, from 90% to 96.12%. PlayOJO lists Book of Dead at 91.00% and Fishin’ Frenzy at 92.54%. A penny spin on Book of Dead covers one line only, so nine of its ten paylines aren’t in play. For a fair go, 10p is the realistic minimum.

Free Spins

Free spins you can get for a £10 deposit

Deposit £10 and get free spins is the most common low deposit offer in the UK. These are the best ones we track this month.

No wagering on the winnings: Betfred Games gives 200 spins at 10p when you register with Promo Code SPINS, deposit by debit card and stake £10 on slots within 14 days. Ladbrokes and Coral give 100 spins at 10p for a £10 slot bet. Casushi, Fruitkings and Peachy Games each give 40 spins on Big Bass Splash for a £10 deposit and £10 slot stake.

Cash spins with no max cash out: All British Casino gives 100 cash spins at 10p on Le Bandit when you deposit and wager £10, and Pub Casino gives 50 cash spins at 20p on the same terms. Skrill deposits are excluded, and the spins expire after 48 hours.

Spins with 10x wagering: William Hill Vegas (200 spins, Promo Code WHV200), Rialto (100 spins on Big Bass – Hold & Spinner) and Magical Vegas (100 spins on The Goonies Megaways Quest for Treasure Jackpot King) all fall into this group. Rialto and Magical Vegas cap spin winnings at £200, William Hill at £30.

A matched bonus from £10: Genting Casino doubles a first deposit of £10 or more up to £25 and adds 50 spins on Big Bass Bonanza, with 10x wagering on both. Videoslots and Mr Vegas give 11 wager-free spins plus a match bonus of up to £50 from a £10 minimum deposit, at 10x.

Want something with no deposit at all? Yeti Casino gives 23 free spins at 10p just for signing up, with 10x wagering on the winnings and a £100 cap. It’s rare in the UK now.

Tables and Bingo

Low-stake table games and bingo

Slots aren’t the only way to make £5 last. Roulette and blackjack tables, digital and live, show their minimum bet before you play. Check it against your balance first: a £1 minimum gives you five hands from £5, while a 10p minimum gives you fifty.

Bingo is the classic low-stake option. Heart Bingo gives free tickets on games up to 10p, and Mecca Bingo runs a free Penny Lane room every night from 8 to 9pm. On the deposit side, Kitty Bingo‘s payments table shows £5 for every method including PayPal, and Mecca’s shows £5 for cards, Apple Pay, Paysafecard and bank transfer, with PayPal at £10.

Some bingo bonuses also carry lighter wagering than casino offers, like Mecca’s 5x on its bingo bonus. Compare them on our bingo sites page.

Downsides

The downsides of low deposit casinos

A £5 deposit is a good way to test a site. But there are a few traps that only show up when you try to cash out.

Here are the four we’d want to know about before depositing.

The minimum withdrawal can be higher than the minimum deposit

Rialto and the other Rank sites with £10 deposit minimums also want £10 to withdraw. William Hill wants £25 if you’re withdrawing money that came in by Paysafecard. LiveScore Bet asks you to contact support if your balance is under £10. So a £5 deposit that turns into £8 may not be easy to cash out. PlayOJO is the exception we found: it says there’s no minimum withdrawal at all.

Paysafecard is a one-way street

None of the casinos we checked list Paysafecard as a withdrawal method. You’ll need to add a debit card or bank account and verify it before you can take money out.

The cheapest method often doesn’t count for the bonus

Deposit £5 by Paysafecard at bet365 and it won’t count towards the £10 you need for the free spins. Deposit £5 by PayPal at Grosvenor and you won’t get the welcome offer at all. Pick the method that qualifies first, then worry about the minimum.

Small balances and wagering don’t mix

With £10 of bonus money at 10x, you need £100 of bets to clear it. At 10p a spin, that’s 1,000 spins. It’s doable, but a cold run can wipe out a small balance long before you get there. No wagering spins avoid that problem entirely.

Budgeting

How to budget with a £5 or £10 deposit

Low deposit casinos are popular because they keep spending small. These steps help keep it that way.

1
Set a deposit limit at sign-up
Since 31 October 2025, UK sites have asked new customers to set a deposit limit before their first deposit. Since 30 September 2026, every site must offer a gross deposit limit. Set it to what you’re happy to lose in a week or a month, not what you hope to win.
2
Pick your stake before you start
Decide on 10p or 20p a spin and stick to it. At 10p, £5 is 50 spins. At 50p, it’s 10. The legal maximum on slots is £5 a spin, or £2 if you’re 18 to 24, but on a small balance you’ll want to be nowhere near it.
3
Use a qualifying payment method
If you want the welcome offer, deposit by debit card unless the terms say otherwise. A £5 Paysafecard deposit that doesn’t qualify can leave you short of the bonus.
4
Verify your ID early
UK casinos have had to verify your age and identity before you play since 7 May 2019. Upload any documents they ask for straight away, so a small withdrawal isn’t held up later.
5
Stop when the deposit’s gone
Treat each £5 or £10 as the cost of a night’s entertainment. If it’s gone, don’t top up the same evening. If you need a break, every UK-licensed site lets you take a time-out.
6
Know where to get help
GAMSTOP blocks you from every UK-licensed gambling site at once, for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. The National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133, any time.
£1 and £3 Deposits

£1 and £3 deposit casinos UK: do they exist?

Not among the sites we checked. Every UK-licensed casino whose payment pages we read sets its lowest online deposit at £5 or more, and most bonuses start at £10. Ads for £1 deposit casinos are worth treating with suspicion, especially if the site isn’t on the Gambling Commission’s register.

The closest thing to a £1 deposit is offline. William Hill’s payments page lists a £1 minimum for William Hill Plus, which tops up your account in a William Hill shop.

If £5 is your budget, bet365, William Hill, Grosvenor, Ladbrokes and Coral all have at least one method that works from £5. If you’d rather spend nothing, look at free bingo rooms, or the Yeti Casino no deposit spins mentioned above. And if what you really want is to get winnings out quickly, our fast withdrawal casinos guide covers payout times.

Methodology

How we chose the best minimum deposit casinos

We looked at low deposit casinos the way a small-stakes player would: how little you can start with, and how far that money goes. We may earn a commission when you join through our links.

Verified minimums We only list a minimum deposit when the casino publishes it on its own payment or help pages. Where a casino says the minimum is shown in the cashier, we say so.
Bonus from £10 Our top picks let you trigger the welcome offer with £10 or less. Offers that need £20 or £30 can still appear, but lower down.
Wagering and caps No wagering beats 10x, and 10x on spin winnings beats 10x on deposit plus bonus. We also note max wins, like William Hill’s £30.
Payment exclusions We check which methods count for the bonus. A £5 minimum isn’t much use if that method is excluded from the offer.
Withdrawal minimums A low deposit should come with a low withdrawal minimum. We list sites where you can withdraw from £5, and flag the ones where you can’t.
Licence Every casino here holds a Gambling Commission licence, and we quote the account number for our top picks.

Usually not with a single £5 deposit, as most welcome offers start at £10. bet365 is the easiest exception: its offer needs £10 in lifetime deposits, so two £5 debit card deposits count. Use Promo Code 365GMBLR to get up to 500 free spins with no wagering.
Is there a £5 minimum deposit casino with a bonus?
Yes, in the sense that you can start with £5 and unlock the offer once you reach £10. bet365, William Hill Vegas, Ladbrokes, Coral and LiveScore Casino all fit. Ladbrokes and Coral give 100 no wagering spins for a £10 slot bet.
Which payment method has the lowest casino deposit?
A debit card is the safest choice, at £5 at bet365, William Hill and Grosvenor, and it qualifies for most bonuses. Paysafecard starts at £5 at bet365 but can’t be used to withdraw and is excluded from most offers. PayPal starts at £5 at Grosvenor but £25 at bet365.
How many spins do I get for £5?
At 10p a spin, £5 gives you 50 spins on games like Starburst, Big Bass Splash or Fishin’ Frenzy The Big Catch 2. The original Fishin’ Frenzy starts at 20p, so you’d get 25. Rainbow Riches starts at a penny, so in theory up to 500.
Can I withdraw my winnings if I only deposited £5?
Yes, but check the minimum withdrawal. bet365, William Hill, Grosvenor and LiveScore Bet allow card withdrawals from £5. Rank sites like Rialto want £10, and PlayOJO says it has no minimum. You’ll need to pass ID checks before your first withdrawal.
Are there £1 or £3 deposit casinos in the UK?
We didn’t find any among the UK-licensed casinos we checked, where online deposits start at £5. The one £1 option is William Hill Plus, topped up in a William Hill shop. Be wary of sites advertising £1 deposits that aren’t on the Gambling Commission register.
